Welcome to Mabua Divers Mabua Beach - Surigao - Mindanao - Philippines
The Mabua Divers diving center is located at Mabua beach near Surigao at the northeasternmost tip of Mindanao Island in the Philippines. North Mindanao is not yet very well known by divers but the Surigao area offers many beautifull divelocations for all levels of certification and new interesting divespots are still discovered in the Surigao area.
Our diving center is still a bit under construction but we are completely operational and offering diving in the Northern Surigao area. At this moment our divingcenter is equipped with: 2 fast inflatable ribs, both equiped with a 40 horsepower engine, 3 compressors, 60 aluminium diving tanks, 8 complete diving sets, Wetsuits and shoes in different sizes, fins, masks/snorkels, diving torches, Oxygine first aid sets, everything well maintained.

In our main house at the beach we plan to build 4 or 5 spacious rooms with veranda and seaview to offer comfortable accommodation in the near future for our guests.

Surigao City is situated at the northeasternmost tip of Mindanao Island. It is bounded by Municipalities of Dinagat and Basilisa to the north, Philippine Sea and the Municipality of Cagdianao to the east, Municipalities of Sison and Tagana-an to the south, Mindanao Sea and the Municipality of San Francisco to the west and the historic Surigao Strait to the northwest.
Like the rest of the country, region falls under the tropical climate type with periods of alternating rain and sunshine throughout the year. While it is normally spared of destructive typhoons that visit the northern part of the Philippines during the wet season, it receives a lot of precipitation.
Surigao Airport (IATA code: SUG), is one of the two airports that serve the province of Surigao del Norte and northern parts of Surigao del Sur and Agusan del Norte. It has a 1708 meter concrete runway and handled an estimated 100,000 passengers in 2010. Plans are underway for the airport's expansion and runway extension to accommodate bigger aircrafts and increased passenger volume.
